Outline of a travel Itinerary

We begin our journey in the picturesque town of Oban. Oban, the Pearl of the West Highlands, is situated at the foot of the imposing mountains of Lorn. Along winding streets you can stroll along the bay or take the climb to McCaig's Tower: a Roman amphitheater folly. In the heart of the fishing town you'll visit the famous Oban Distillery

From Oban we set sail towards Tobermory which, like Oban, offers a variety of museums, galleries, shops, and hotspots. In addition to the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, this region is perfect for a walk in nature.

The nearby Ardnamurchan Distillery, on the other side of the Sound of Mull, is also worth a visit. After some whiskies we head to the beautifully located island of Rùm which is slightly larger than the Dutch Terschelling.

Island hopping is the best way to explore beautiful Scotland. Skye, besides its fantastic nature, is home to the famous Talisker Distillery, the oldest whisky distillery on the island. Talisker whiskies are renowned for their smoky peat flavor.

From the distillery you can walk along Talisker Bay to the local pub, The Old Inn, to meet the locals. Prefer to venture further into nature? Skye is very mountainous but definitely worth a longer walk. Also on Skye is the beautiful coastal town of Portree, which stands out brightly among the cliffs. Portree is the largest town on Skye and a paradise for souvenirs.

In addition to Rùm and Skye, Harris is a must-see by ship. In Tarbert on Harris you can try your luck at the Harris Distillery - "The Social Distillery". In addition to excellent whiskies this distillery is known for Isle Of Harris Gin and 'The Hearach' Single Malt Whisky.

The nature of Harris is once again incomparably Scottish: here you can spot iconic species like mountain hares, otters, and red deer.

Last but not least: The island of Raasay, east of Skye, is home to the Raasay Distillery, 'the first legal whisky & gin distillery on the Isle of Raasay'. A distillery that looks like a house and also looks like one from the outside: like a habitable villa, equipped with all modern conveniences. After island hopping we will likely sail to an anchorage in the sea loch Loch Torridon, an idyllic berth in the middle of the water.

On Friday, we sail to Ullapool where we will conclude our last overnight stay with the stories of the week and a whisky dram to end.

On Saturday, September 7th, the captain and his crew bid farewell to the guests, who will leave the ship no later than 10:00 in the morning.
