Barquentine Thalassa is an impressive and seaworthy sailing ship. This three-master is one of the most beautiful and fastest sea sailing vessels in the Dutch fleet!
Thalassa was built and rigged in 1980 in a traditional manner as a barquentine. Rigged according to old tradition but equipped according to the latest safety standards, Thalassa is a sturdy and safe ship, bringing adventurous sailing and comfortable enjoyment in perfect harmony.

The tastefully decorated salon and the comfortable cabins (each with its own shower and sink) ensure that everyone feels at home immediately on board. The skilled crew and the excellent kitchen create a relaxed atmosphere and make a journey with Thalassa unforgettable.

Barquentine Thalassa is a so-called Special Purpose Ship, teaching sailors of all ages to sail. As a tall ship, Thalassa is a seaworthy sailing vessel and every voyage is a unique adventure. The crew is ready to provide nautical training for novice sailors and tips and tricks for the advanced.
In summer, Thalassa sails across Europe with various groups. In winter, the ship crosses the Atlantic with the School at Sea talent development programme. Will you join us on a sailing voyage?
