Hotspots in the ports of Aberdeen and Kristiansand
Aberdeen is also known as 'the silver city with the golden sands'. This city (inhabited for 8000 years!) on the east coast of Scotland has numerous must-sees: historical hotspots, many parks and gardens, and the city hosts various festivals year-round. In addition to the cultural agenda, Aberdeen boasts a wide variety of beautiful pubs. So be sure to take the time to get to know the locals - and with them, the history and beautiful spots of the city - while enjoying a pint.Kristiansand is the Honolulu of Norway with its fine sand and palm trees. It's difficult to choose from thousands of islands. The sea and surrounding fjords are perfect for fishing and sailing, and the nearby inland and mountains are ideal for skiing and hiking. Want to explore the city and search for souvenirs? The old district Posebyen, with whitewashed walls and the largest collection of charming wooden houses, is full of quirky shops. The neighborhoods Kvadraturen, Markens, and Skippergata also have numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants. Street art, giant murals, art galleries, and museums can be found everywhere in Kristiansand
