Ship's Log ThalassaThalassa was in Southampton for the famous Boat Show. Soon she will return to her home port in Harlingen, where she will be refitted for the annual 'School at Sea' project with students. Meanwhile, we have also been busy onshore and have put together a wonderful sailing program that will start by the end of April 2025. One of the trips we would like to highlight in this edition of our newsletter is the adventurous voyage from Aberdeen to Kristiansand. The Nautical Festivals in 2025Thalassa will participate in two prestigious nautical festivals: Sail Bremerhaven and Sail Amsterdam. These iconic events attract tens of thousands of visitors annually and provide a spectacular stage for a fleet of impressive tall ships, historical vessels, and modern sailing yachts. In both Bremerhaven and Amsterdam, we will be part of the festive parades and activities, celebrating maritime heritage and the art of sailing in all its glory. This unique experience promises to be a highlight for both our crew and the visitors to the festivals. The three-masted barquentine Thalassa is an exceptionally strong, seaworthy ship. With her 16 sails she is an impressive sight on the horizon. Sailing on the Thalassa means relaxation, luxury and adventure, all at the same time. An experienced crew, an excellently equipped accommodation and the culinary surprises served on board, guarantee you a wonderful trip. During her sailing trips Thalassa can receive 30 persons.
