Thalassa journal Christmas 2022It is our pleasure to inform you in this ship's journal about all the expected activities on board our ship Thalassa from this moment until the end of the new year to come. Winter 2022-2023Our annual winter project School at seaSails have been set! Spring 2023Scotland it is!For 2023 our spring whisky tours are already fully booked but as soon as the dates of Feis Ile 2024 are known (which hopefully won't take long anymore) we will map out the Scotland spring 2024 tours and present these to our committed customers first. To be continued... Summer 2023Celebrations in France: L'Armada du Siècle and Fête de la Mer à Boulogne -sur-Mer!From Scotland, Thalassa sails to France to participate in L'Armada du Siècle in Rouen. Armada Rouen 2023, one of the largest gatherings of tallships in the world with an expected 6 million visitors, a magnificent nautical spectacle of which Thalassa will also be proud to be part of this edition. Roam the French and English coasts, an extra-long summer sailing holiday!On June 19, Thalassa will be in Le Havre where boarding will take place at 20.00 for the Channel voyage. There will be a crossing to the Solent , then Swanage, Alderney, Mont Saint Michel, St Malo, Torbay, Brixham. Dartmouth, Salcombe, Falmouth and the Isles of Scilly will be visited.We will subsequently make another crossing to the rugged coast of Brittany and visit Aber Wrach, Roscoff (ile de Batz) and/or Lezardrieux . After that, Thalassa will presumably sail downwind back east( if there is still time via Guernsey) to finish in Boulogne on 7 July. Depending on the wind, the order of this cruise may be adjusted. Also during the cosy characteristic Fête de la Mer à Boulogne-sur-Mer, Thalassa will again make her appearance from 13-16 July 2023. During 4 days, the sea and the maritime world will be honoured. With Youngsters from France to England: the Erasmus+ exchange at Thalassa / theme sustainableDates: 17 to 29 July 2023. Are you between 17 and 25 years old?
