Sustainable Youth Exchange for trainees from France, Netherlands, Estonia, and Ireland.
Join a cultural exchange on board the traditional Tall Ship Thalassa, sailing from France to Ireland.
Make international friends and discover your similarities and differences. Learn to sail a traditional vessel, fish for and analyse micro-plastic in the sea, and discover the beautiful Irish and French coasts.
Challenge yourself: learn how to steer, trim the sails and navigate using sea charts. Join the games set up by your mentors, and most of all: enjoy the trip!
Participate in Dinghy to raise money for your journey and learn new things about yourself. For young Windseekers preferred age 16-21years (Age 21-28 at request).

Ireland, Netherlands, France, and Estonia.
Startharbour: Brest (France)
Endharbour: Dun Laoghaire/ (South port) of Dublin (Ireland)
For trainees age 17-22 years only

No sailing-experience required.
(You need to have a valid passport in case the ship will make a stop in the UK!)

*Greenways for traveling to and from ports are reimbursed under Erasmus+ regulations.
Traveling to-and-from the ports will be reimbursed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union. Reimbursement up to a certain amount, depending on the trainee’s country (according to the rules of the Erasmus+ Program). Maximum possible reimbursement: from € 180 to € 320, depending on the country of origin and mode of transport (there is a higher subsidy for green travel options). The reimbursement will take place several months after the journey, based on receipts and tickets.
Trainees who will join an Erasmus+ exchange do not need to paythe Dinghy fee of 75 EUR if they like to join the (Dinghy) fundraisingsprogramn.
